The Navy rendered assistance to clean a retention pond at Samagipura, Hambantota on 18^th July 2019. The event was organized by the Municipal Council of Hambantota.

Naval personnel held two persons who were loading sand for transportation without permits, during a raid carried out at Kandalkadu area in Trincomalee, on 20^th July 2019.

Prevailing strong windy condition over the country and surrounding sea areas is expected to reduce from 24^th July.
