The Task Force of the National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO) July (28) had one more of its routine sessions with the objective of evaluating the status quo and revisiting all preventive mechanisms with special focus on the forthcoming General Elections and cultural pageants.

The Deputy Director General of Health Services, Dr. Lakshman Gamlath stated that the Parliament will be presented with a set of guidelines essential for the conduct of sessions in a safe environment post General Elections as measure of facing the challenges of COVID19 will be presented to the Parliament next Friday.
