Following a visit by Ambassador of Sri Lanka to China Dr. Palitha Kohona to Luoyang in April during the Peony Festival, the Foreign Affairs Office of the Luoyang Municipal People’s Government has gifted a peony garden to the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Beijing.

‘Launch to Germany’, a Virtual Soft-landing competition to facilitate the entry of Sri Lankan Start-ups to Germany, was held during the AsiaBerlin Summit 2021 in Berlin, providing the ideal pitch bed with the focus of finding, recognizing, and connecting the future-shapers of the digital age among Sri Lankan tech startups.

It was revealed at the Ministerial Consultative Committee on Wildlife & Forest Conservation that the energizer used thus far at a high expense to supply electricity to elephant fences is being produced by a private company in Sri Lanka at a cost of Rs. 76,300.
