Celebrating their 69th Anniversary, the Sri Lanka Air Force held a flag blessing ceremony at the Anuradhapura sacred 'Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi'. This initiative was taken this year on the instructions of the Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Sumangala Dias. The event was also held under the auspices of the Commander in person.

The medical certificate known as PCR to confirm that Sri Lankans travelling to Kuwait from March 08, 2020 bare not infected with the Corona Virus (COVID-19) has been cancelled by the Kuwait Civil Aviation Services Deputy Director General.
