The South African High Commissioner to Sri Lanka Sandile Schalk called on Minister of Foreign Affairs Ali Sabry on 29 September, 2022 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

 Minister of Foreign Affairs Ali Sabry returned to the country, having participated at the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) held in New York.

Showers will occur at times in Western, Sabaragamuwa and North-Western provinces and in Kandy, Nuwara-Eliya, Galle and Matara districts. Fairly heavy falls about 50 mm can be expected at some places in Sabaragamuwa Province.
