In furtherance of the cultural diplomacy initiatives undertaken by the Sri Lanka Embassy in Jordan, a collection of ninety two Children’s Books authored by Sri Lankan writers were gifted to the Children’s section of the Abdul Hameed Shoman Public library in Amman on 9 February to commemorate the 74thAnniversary of Sri Lanka’s Independence.

The Foreign Ministry and the State Ministry of Batik, Handloom and Local Apparel Products held a joint session on 18 February 2022 at the Foreign Ministry to promote Sri Lankan batik, handloom and local apparel products through Sri Lankan Missions worldwide.

The fourth edition of Colombo Naval Exercise -2022 (CONEX-22), hosted by Sri Lanka Navy to further hone professionalism and experiences of naval personnel, concluded on a successful note on 14th February 2022.

Ministers stated that they are willing to consider the proposals contained in the concept paper submitted to the President by the Presidential Task Force for “One Country, One Law” and would like to extend their support to the President in achieving his objectives.
