617 arrested for violating quarantine laws - Continuous operations to find quarantine law violators
May 08, 2021Police Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana stated that continuous operations are carried out to find quarantine law violators across the country and a total of 617 individuals have been arrested for violating quarantine laws, not wearing facemasks, and not maintaining social distance within the last 24 hours.
The Government official news portal is maintains by the New Media Unit of the Department of Government Information and it was titled "news.lk" and commenced in mid1996 and release to Internet from March 01st, 1997.
