Hon. Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena, Speaker of Parliament today (10) endorsed the certificate on the Appropriation Bill for the Fiscal year 2022 starting from the 1 st of
January 2022 ending on December 31 st 2022.

To coincide with the Navy’s customary celebrations, 84 officers and 1684 ratings were promoted/advanced to their next higher ranks/rates with the recommendation of Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Nishantha Ulugetenne effective from (09th December).
