    The Foreign Ministry has decided to suspend all services offered by the Consular Affairs Division of the Ministry on 08th and 09th October 2020, to restrict the congregation of the general public and thereby to prevent the spreading of COVID-19 Virus.

    In an attempt to arrest the spread of coronavirus among the public, Sri Lanka Navy (07th October 2020) carried out a disinfection programme at the Provincial Main Passenger Bus Terminal, Colombo Fort which is frequented by a large number of commuters on daily basis.

    Sri Lanka’s Permanent Representative to the African Union Ambassador Sugeeshwara Gunaratna presented credentials to Chairperson of the African Union Commission His Excellency Moussa Faki Mahamat on 06 October 2020. The presentation of credentials was held at the African Union Headquarters in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
