Sri Lanka Navy handed over a stock of protective visors to the staff of the Teaching Hospital-Anuradhapura, for the use of medical staff engaged in treatments to the patients, last 22nd April 2020.
The Defence Ministry has cancelled leave and short passes granted to all Officers and Others Ranks of the Tri-Services with immediate effect and directs all personnel to report to their respective camps immediately.

April 26, 2020A Navy officer who was receiving treatment in Intensive Care Unit of the Sri Lanka Navy General Hospital Colombo has passed away on April 25, 2020 due to Leptospirosis (Rat-bite Fever).
