Sri Lankans in Myanmar donate a stock of PPE to Navy
May 25, 2020Extending their supportive hand to the programmes conducted by the Navy for controlling the spread of coronavirus, Sri Lankans in Myanmar donated a stock of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) worth about Rs. 350000/= to the Navy.
Sri Lankan and Indian Trade Bodies to promote bilateral Trade and Investment post COVID19
May 25, 2020Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO) organised an interactive video-conference session with the participation of Federation Chamber of Commerce and Industry Sri Lanka (FCCISL) and Colombo Chamber of Commerce to discuss trade and investment opportunities between the two countries post COVID19. Officials from High Commission of India, Colombo and High Commission of Sri Lanka, New Delhi also participated in the discussion.
The new High Commissioner of India to Sri Lanka H.E. Gopal Baglay visited the prominent Gangaramaya Temple in Colombo to pray to Lord Buddha for health, peace and prosperity of the people of Sri Lanka and India and their friendship and cooperation.
