Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC) Senior Officials’ Meeting was held today, 28 March 2022 in hybrid mode under the
chairmanship of Sri Lanka. The meeting was attended by the Foreign Secretaries of the BIMSTEC Member States.

A bilateral naval exercise between Sri Lanka Navy and Indian Navy commenced in seas off Colombo on 26th March and it will be held until 29th March.
