A new Cabinet consisting of a total of 28 ministries and 40 state ministries were sworn in before President Gotabaya Rajapaksa, a short while ago.

Ambassador Lamawansa visited the Moscow Clinical Centre for Infectious Deceases named after V.P. Demikhov in Voronovskoye, Moscow region in order to hand over 46 boxes of Ceylon tea as a token of appreciation from Sri Lanka to the medical staff combating COVID-19 and saving patients’ lives on 10 August 2020.

President Gotabaya Rajapaksa through an Extraordinary Gazette notification announced the Ministerial structure consisting 28 Ministries and 40 State Ministries. This includes  Ministries that come under the purview of the President and the Prime Minister.
