The IT industry will be developed to become a major source of foreign exchange for the country. - State Minister of Technology Kanaka Herath
December 21, 2022According to Mr. Kanaka Herath, State Minister of Technology, a comprehensive program has been launched to make the IT sector a major foreign exchange earning industry in Sri Lanka. He states that, it has been possible to earn 1500 million US dollars in foreign exchange through the IT industry in 2021.
As per the provisions of the Inland Revenue (Amendment) Act, the tax amendments will come into effect from January 1.
December 21, 2022The tax amendments related to the Inland Revenue (Amendment) Act, which Speaker Hon. Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena endorsed the certificate, December (19), will come into effect from January 1, 2023 as per the provisions of the Act.
