Showers or thundershowers will occur in the Eastern, Uva and North-central provinces and in Hambantota districts.Showers or thundershowers may occur elsewhere after 2.00pm.
Fairly heavy falls (about 75 mm) can be occur at some places, particularly in the Western, Sabaragamuwa and Eastern provinces and in, Polonnaruwa, Galle and Matara districts.Misty conditions can be expected at some places in the Western, Sabaragamuwa and Central provinces during the morning.
There may be temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers. General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning activity
