More than 250 people in the locality were benefited by the medical clinic. Medical professionals and staff of the Northern Naval Command offered their valued services to the deserving people in the islet by screening for non-communicable diseases, treating for chronic and acute diseases and providing field laboratory investigations during the clinic.

The State Pharmaceutical Cooperation and Triposha Lanka Ltd had supported the Navy's public welfare initiative by providing medicines and nutritional supplements of the medical camp.
