A collection of books in Sinhala and Tamil languages was donated to the Community Languages section of the City Library in Palmerston North, New Zealand on 24 September 2021.

A squadron of the Russian Navy’s Pacific Fleet which included the Corvette ‘Gremyashchiy’ and submarines ‘B – 603’ and ‘B – 274’ arrived at the Colombo harbour (16th October 2021). Sri Lanka Navy welcomed the visiting ships in precision with naval traditions as they arrived at the port of Colombo.

The Chief of the Army Staff of India, General Manoj Mukund Naravane who is currently on an official visit to Sri Lanka paid a courtesy call on Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Nishantha Ulugetenne at the Navy Headquarters (16th October 2021).
