Yet another meritorious event to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Sri Lanka Navy was held at the Kelaniya Raja Maha Viharaya on 24th December 2020.

A Christmas event via ZOOM technology was hosted for Sri Lankan and Jordanian children by the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Jordan in the premises of the Abdul Hameed Shoman Foundation Library in Amman.

The Government of Japan has provided a total sum of US$ 636,262 (approx. Rs. 115 million) to the Mines Advisory Group (MAG) for humanitarian demining activities in Northern Sri Lanka.
