Seven newly appointed Ambassadors and a High Commissioner to Sri Lanka presented their credentials to President Ranil Wickremesinghe at the Presidential Secretariat this morning (11).

A special meeting attended by the Party leaders and members of the Committee on Parliamentary Business to discuss the draft bill for the establishment of the Budget Office of the Parliament was held Nov- (10) in Parliament under the chairmanship of the Speaker Hon. Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena and the participation of the Prime Minister Hon. Dinesh Gunawardena.

A program organized by the Communications Department of the Parliament of Sri Lanka to educate Katana Pradeshiya Sabha members about parliamentary activities and procedures was held at the Katana Pradeshiya Sabha premises recently.

Prime Minister Hon. Dinesh Gunawardena that a program has been initiated to rectify the recent delay in payment of retirement gratuity.
