A special discussion took place this evening (02) between President Ranil Wickremesinghe and Most Rev. Dr. Harold Anthony Perera, Bishop of Kurunegala and the President of Catholic Bishops' Conference of Sri Lanka.

An awareness program on parliamentary process and procedures was held recently at the Centenary Hall of Ananda Vidyalaya, Colombo. The primary objective of this program was to promote the knowledge in relation to the subject of political science for the advanced level students of Ananda Vidyalaya, Colombo, and thus, resources were facilitated by the senior officials of the Parliament of Sri Lanka.

Hon. Rohini Kumari Wijerathna, Chairperson of the Parliamentary Children's Caucus, said that she intends to do a significant amount of work in the future for the betterment of children of this country.
