The Sri Lanka Transport Board says that more than 650 additional buses have been added to the service today due to the ongoing train strike. The Deputy General Manager R.R.T Chandrasiri said buses have been deployed to all the areas from Colombo. Meanwhile, the Deputy Chief Executive said that steps have been taken to cancel the leave of the Technical Officers until the strike is called off. He said that special teams have also been deployed to carry out repair work on buses.
