A 24 hours hotline 1912 is now available to provide assistance for all tourists in Sri Lanka during the fight against the COVID-19. The initiative was taken by the Sri Lanka inbound tour operators association together with stakeholders in the tourism industry. The hotline can be used by the tourists for any queries and assistance during their stay in the country. Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa issuing an appreciation twitter message said that it is a much-needed initiative. He furthered, “Appreciate the much-neede initiative taken up voluntarily by the inbound tour operators association and all stakeholders of the tourism industry, to provide assistance to tourists in Sri Lanka with any queries they may have.” M.A.A.
