May 22, 2023President Ranil Wickremesinghe called on every Sri Lankan to contribute to creating a glorious & prosperous country free of bankruptcy.
President Ranil Wickremesinghe paid his last respects to the late Chief Prelate of the Amarapura Maha Nikaya, Aggamahapandita Most Venerable Dodampahala Chandrasiri Thero.
President Ranil Wickremesinghe stated that the government will be able to consider the financial concessions and privileges requested by the university lecturers after the domestic debt restructuring program is successfully completed and the country’s economy is stabilized by September.
The Bank of Ceylon Annual Report 2022 was presented to President Ranil Wickremesinghe, the Minister of Finance, Economic Stabilization, and National Policy, by Mr. Ronald C. Perera, the Chairman of the Bank of Ceylon, at the Ministry of Finance today (18).
