The Consul General of Sri Lanka to Dubai and Northern Emirates and the Deputy Commissioner General of Sri Lanka to Expo Nalinda Wijerathna and the Chief International Participant Officer of EXPO 2020 Omar Shehadeh jointly declared opened the Sri Lanka pavilion at EXPO 2020  at Dubai EXPO premises.

As such, the facility was made available for community use at the Siri Sambuddha Galapitagala Temple in Rajavigama, as yet another Naval Social Responsibility initiative, sponsored by the Navy Seva Vanitha Unit.
