Nautical Institute’s Sri Lanka Branch has recognized the academic excellence of two naval officers who stood out in courses conducted by Sri Lanka Navy. The awarding of respective certificates and awards to those officers were held at the 29th Annual General Meeting held at the auditorium of Organization of Professional Association in Colombo on 18 June 2022.

The Embassy of Sri Lanka in Bahrain in collaboration with the Sri Lanka Engineering Society (SLES) and the American Mission Hospital organized a free Medical Camp and Clinic at the Embassy premises on 17 June 2022, expanding the scope of welfare activities to further heights.

Prof. G.L. Peiris, Minister of Foreign Affairs, met the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, the Secretary General of the International Federation of the Red Cross and   the Permanent Representatives of China, the European Union, Australia, Republic of Korea, Germany, Netherlands and Jordan in Geneva on the sidelines of the 50^th session of the UN Human Rights Council.

Sri Lanka Ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Iran G.M. Vipulatheja Wishwanath Aponsu met several key dignitaries including Deputy Minister of Health Dr. Mohammed Hossein Niknam, Director General (West Asia) of the Foreign Ministry of Iran Dr. Seyyed Rasoul Mousavi, and Head of the Iranian Red Crescent Society (IRCS) Dr. Pir Hossein Kolivandon 12 June 2022 at their offices in Tehran.
