Thundershowers will develop at most parts of the island after 2.00 p.m. Showers or thundershowers will occur at Western,Southern and Sabaragamuwa provinces during the morning too. Heavy rain falls (more than 100mm) are also expected at some places.
There may be temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers.
The Met Dept.requests general public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning activity.
