During the recent visit of President of Pakistan to Sri Lanka it was decided that both countries will organize Single Country Exhibitions which will be supported by the relevant authorities, TDAP said.
The exhibition is organized under the patronage and support of Government of Sri Lanka. It will be held at the BMICH in Colombo from 15th to 17th January 2016.
The High Commission of Pakistan in Sri Lanka is putting all efforts to make this event successful, TDAP said. A large number of people is expected to visit the event.
Major components of Single Country Exhibition will be exhibition display, Business to business meetings and Pakistani cuisine festival.
Renowned companies from Textile, Agro, Engineering, Marble & Granite, Handicrafts, Garments & Accessories, Jeweler sectors will participate in the event.
The exhibition will be a true showcase of the progressive Pakistan with collective presence of top Pakistani brands in the event, TDAP said.
Under the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between Pakistan and Sri Lanka, which is operational from June 12, 2005, the two countries have agreed to offer preferential market access to each other's exports by way of granting tariff concessions.
