The Chief of Staff of the Navy, Rear Admiral Sirimewan Ranasinghe, the Director General Training, Rear Admiral Udaya Bandara, several senior naval officers attached to the Western Naval Command, members of the NSVU and a large number of senior sailors were also present on the occasion.
The programme was conducted by the renowned actress, Kalasuri Anoja Weerasinghe along with Senior Yoga Acharya Sri Nataraj from the Sivanada Yoga Vedaanta Dhanavantari Ashram of Kerala and Senior Yoga Acharya Srimathi Kalyani. They explained how Yoga can be effectively used to overcome stress, get fit and stay healthy.
In appreciation of the informative programme conducted for the benefit of the naval personnel, a special memento was presented to Ms. Weerasinghe by the NSVU President.
