This program is aimed at motivating younger students to take to scientific research as his/her future career. The programme is organised by the Science Education & Dissemination Unit of NIFS. It consists of lectures, demonstrations and various activities in English.

One hundred and fifty students will be selected for the program. Students who have passed the G.C.E.O/L Examination in 2014 with 9 Distinctions in the first attempt and currently studying in the A/L science stream are eligible to apply for the program.

Application forms could be obtained from the school principals, through NIFS web site (www.ifs.ac.lk) or by sending a stamped self-addressed envelope to the Head, Science Education & Dissemination Unit, National Institute of Fundamental Studies, Hantana Road, Kandy on or before 15th October, 2015. The duly filled application form should be sent individually to above address on or before 2nd November 2015.
