During the meeting possible avenues to enhance cooperation were discussed.

(GCSP) is an international foundation based in Switzerland which serves as a leading executive education centre in global security policy and also functions as a platform that facilitates dialogue and exchange in support of peace, security and international cooperation.

The visiting delegation included Colonel (GS) Christian Buhlmann, head of Regional Development Programme, and Hans J Roth, Senior Diplomatic Advisor from the Centre.

His Excellency Heinz Walker-Nederkoorn, Ambassador for Switzerland in Colombo and the Colonel (GS) Christ of Gertsch, Defence Attach‚ accompanied the delegation.
