The School uniform vouchers are to be provided before the third term school vacation next month. Minister of Education Akila Viraj Kariyawasam disclosed that it is planned to hand over these vouchers before the 04th of next month.
Addressing a news conference in Colombo yesterday, the Education Minister pointed out that although the validity period of these vouchers is only up to February, it could be expanded.
Minister noted that the money left after the spending on the purchase of uniform material, can be used even for the purchase of school gear.
The Government official news portal is maintains by the New Media Unit of the Department of Government Information and it was titled "news.lk" and commenced in mid1996 and release to Internet from March 01st, 1997.
