Thundershowers will develop at inland and will spread to western areas after 2.00 p.m. Some showers can be expected over and off southern coast in the morning too, the Met Dept. said.
There may be temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers.
The Met Dept. requests the general public to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning activity.
