At the event 377 diploma recipients were offered their Diploma Certificates in diverse courses including three Higher National Diploma and fourteen National Diploma courses in the fields of Psychology, Counselling, Sports strength, Career guidance and English, conducted in both English and Sinhala mediums.

Additionally, the best student of each course was offered the "Best Student Award" to evaluate their talents shown at the academic period.

Prof. Kapila Gunasekara, the Chairman of SLF making a congratulatory message wished very best for the Diploma recipients in their future endeavors and pointed out that the arrival of the DR.Juergen Morhard at the occasion was not only a symbol of the longstanding relations between the two countries but also the contribution of German people to the establishment of Sri Lanka Foundation.

Two officers of the Department of Government Information who successfully completed their courses also received their Diploma Certificates at the ceremony.

The lecturers of the SLF, Parents and well wishers were present at the occasion.
