The Met. Dept. forecasts that the possibility for rain over the island is low.
However, a few showers will occur in the Uva province.
Thunder showers will develop at a few places in the Central, Sabaragamuwa and Western provinces and in the Galle and Matara districts after 4.00p.m.
There may be temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers. General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning activity.
