The Cabinet of Ministers has given their approval to the proposal to implement ‘Green Fisheries Harbours’ project prepared by the Marine Environment Protection Authority with a view to building a sustainable fishery industryby converting the Mirissa Fishery Harbour into a Green Harbour at a cost of Rs. 30.4 million.
