The Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation said that a luxury bus service will be launched within the city of Colombo next year.
It has been added to the ministry’s proposed plans and schedule for the year 2016.
In addition to this the ministry intends to implement several other projects such as the purchase of 80 small buses, infrastructure development of bus depots across the country, completion of distributing ticket machines to all depots, introduction of software to prepare data and reports of running unit.
The Government official news portal is maintains by the New Media Unit of the Department of Government Information and it was titled "news.lk" and commenced in mid1996 and release to Internet from March 01st, 1997.
