A prosperous era within next few years - Labour Minister

The Government’s decision to initiate a number of development projects to create jobs for unemployed youth in the country became a reality during the past year, Minister of Labour and Trade Union Relations W.D.J. Seneviratne said

Minister Seneviratne said that the “100 day Programme” was a practical national policy which functioned in Sri Lanka, while granting many benefits to all parts of the country.. Currently, the Government has taken measures to make the “Good governance promises” a success, while launching number of Programs Island wide, he added..

The Minister further emphasised that President Maithripala Sirisena will definitely uplift the country's production and create a prosperous era by developing facilities such as roads, electricity, health, education etc. within the period of next few years.
