This event was organized at the initiative of the Commander of the Air Force in view of felicitating and encouraging these outstanding SLAF personnel.

Detection of foreign currency at BIA
The following personnel had assisted Sri Lanka Customs in 2008 to detect and confiscate foreign currency worth Rs. Eighty million at the BIA.
