The Sri Lanka Navy assisted in the repatriation of 102 Indian fishermen yesterday (21), the Navy Media reported.
The navy has handed over the fishermen to the Indian Coast Guard Ships “Durgavati” and “Amaya” at the International Maritime Boundary Line North of Kankasanthurei.
Sri Lanka Navy Ship “Ranavijaya” and the Sri Lanka Coast Guard vessel CG 46 had been deployed for this mission.
