Our Galle District Information Officer said that  obtaining views and suggestions of the public in the Galle District was held successfully and public opinion were received in writing, orally, through fax and emails.

Religious leaders of all denominations, representatives of civil and rural committees, University lecturers, doctors, politicians, journalists and government officials had expressed their written and oral views with the committee.

Several suggestions of significance had been submitted to the committee.
