The program ‘Wasa Visa Nethi Ratak’ (A country free of poisonous substances), which is to be implemented in accordance with the election manifesto of President Maithripala Sirisena to ensure chemical-free farming within the next three years, will be held on 6 to 8 March from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the BMICH.
In parallel to this program a conference to launch ‘Wasa Visa Nethi Ratak’ will be held under the patronage of the President with the participation of the members of the Agricultural Research Officers Association and over 5,000 farming leaders, on 7 March.
