The Vice Chancellor of the Sri Jayawardenapura University, Professor Sampath Amarathunga delivered the keynote address where the Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Ravindra Wijegunaratne graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.

The conference was organized to widen the knowledge of all participants through gaining proficiency in the field of logistics.  

Local and foreign naval logistics training institutions, universities, and entrepreneurs involved in naval logistics, Government institutions, the Sri Lanka Army, the Sri Lanka Air Force and renowned scholars in the field of logistics took part in this conference.
