The schools are planned to be developed under the Educational Sector Development Programme carried out by the Ministry. The money has been received as a grant from the World Bank and will be distributed among the nine Provincial Councils.

Schools under Provincial Councils can be developed under three broad areas by the Educational Sector Development Programme.

Improving the attendance of students, Improving the quality of education and Improving the administrative structure of education are the three broad areas.
