This programme was started from Kekirawa.The home garden concept mainly targets the off season. It is expected to complete the programme by the end of this year.

With the implementation of this programme, the country will not have to face the escalation of the prices of some food products such as chilies or any other crop, which country experienced recently.

The ministry also plans to produce 1,000 new small and medium scale entrepreneurs by providing technical and financial assistance to them to engage in organic fertilizer production.
