The Ceylon Electricity Board has imposed power outages islandwide today (March 16) and tomorrow (March 17) until the normal power supply is restored.
Accordingly, a five hour power outage will be in effect during the day and two hours during the night under the following groups.
1) Group A 7.00 a.m. - 12.30 p.m. and 6.00 p.m.- 8.00 p.m.
2) Group B 7.00 a.m. - 12.30 p.m. and 6.00 p.m. - 8.00 p.m.
3) Group C 12.30 p.m. - 6.00 p.m. and 8.00 p.m. - 10.00 p.m.
4) Group D 12.30 p.m. - 6.00 p.m. and 8.00 p.m. - 10.00 p.m.
