Road Development Authority (RDA) has undertaken to construct 37 new bridges in the Central Province at a cost of Rs. 1,160 million.
According to the RDA, 17 bridges at a cost of Rs. 654 million will be constructed in the Kandy District. Five bridges costing Rs. 141 million will be constructed in Nuwara Eliya District while 15 bridges will be constructed in Matale District at a cost of Rs. 365 million.
