The 18-member delegation visited the Ranaviru Sevana in Ragama and presented prosthetic limbs to 99 disable War Heroes.
During the visit the members of the Australian delegation led by Terry Daley, Manager of World Community Service Helping Hands Project exchanged views with the War Heroes and officers of the rehabilitation centre. The donation comes as a result of a request made by Directorate of Rehabilitation.
Four representatives of the visiting Australian INGO also met the Army Commander Lieutenant General Crishanthe De Silva at the Army Headquarters on Thursday (31st March).
