Final report prepared by Justice Nimal Dissanayake, who conducted an investigation on the prevailing human-elephant conflict will be handed-over this week.
The report contains the results of an investigation conducted over a period of two and a half months with public, media, NGOs, government officials, and unions on the respective matter.
According to the Wildlife Minister Gamini Jayawickrama Perera, the necessary steps would be taken for the issues identified in the report together with the CID and AG department.
