Accordingly, several spells of showers are expected in the Western, North-Western, Southern, Central and Sabaragamuwa provinces.

The Met. Department predicts showers or thunder showers may occur at several places in the Uva and Eastern provinces, particularly after 2.00 p.m.

Strong windy conditions over the country and in the sea areas around the island will continue further especially over the Southern, Eastern and Northern sea areas.
