The application and the guidelines to admit children to the Government schools for the academic year 2017 were published a short while ago.
The Parents/ Legal Guardians, who expect to admit their children to Grade One, are informed to forward the applications by registered post on or before 30th June 2016.
The application forms should be prepared in conformity with the specimen form given below and according to the instructions in it, addressing the relevant Heads of Schools.
The Government official news portal is maintains by the New Media Unit of the Department of Government Information and it was titled "news.lk" and commenced in mid1996 and release to Internet from March 01st, 1997.
